Calexico Celebrates 4th of July with Historic Drone Show and Festivities at Gran Plaza Outlets

Calexico, CA — The city of Calexico lit up the night sky on Thursday, July 3rd with its first-ever drone show, marking a historic milestone for the Imperial Valley. The celebration, held at Gran Plaza Outlets from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., drew hundreds of residents and visitors eager to enjoy a night filled with patriotism, entertainment, and community spirit.

The event featured an array of activities and vendors, including local art, food, and clothing vendors, as well as displays from local businesses showcasing their products and services. Attendees also enjoyed a lively beer garden and performances by talented local singers who serenaded the crowd with popular hits throughout the evening.

One of the highlights of the night was the spectacular drone show that commenced at 9:30 p.m., making history as the first drone display of its kind in the Imperial Valley.
