Ballots for November 4 Statewide Special Election to Be Mailed Beginning October 6

Imperial County, CA — The Imperial County Registrar of Voters (ROV) announced that all active registered voters will begin receiving their ballots in the mail starting Monday, October 6, for the upcoming Statewide Special Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

According to county officials, all ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day, November 4, to be counted. To avoid delays, voters are encouraged to mail their ballots at least seven days in advance.

For those who prefer not to mail their ballot, several return options are available. Voters may drop off their ballot at any official polling site on Election Day or use one of the county’s designated ballot drop boxes, which will remain open through November 4.

Early in-person voting will also be available at the ROV Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, until Monday, November 3.

Voters who do not receive a ballot but believe they should have are urged to contact the ROV Office by calling (442) 265-1060 or emailing VoterSupport@co.imperial.ca.us for assistance.

Additionally, California Voter Information Guides are expected to arrive in residents’ mailboxes in the coming days, providing details on statewide measures and election procedures.

Registrar of Voters officials are encouraging all eligible residents to participate in the democratic process.

More information is available by visiting the Imperial County Elections Department website at https://elections.imperialcounty.org or by contacting the ROV Office directly at (442) 265-1060.
