Imperial Valley’s Top-Ranked Realtor Launches 2026 Monthly Homebuyer Workshops to Support Local Families
For many families across Imperial Valley, the path to homeownership can feel complex and intimidating. Local Realtor® Emmanuel Gonzalez says he wants to change that.
After closing 102 homes in 2025 and finishing the year ranked as the No. 1 real estate agent in Imperial Valley, Gonzalez is expanding his focus in 2026 beyond transactions. He has committed to hosting a free First-Time Homebuyer Workshop every month throughout the year, aiming to provide consistent education and guidance to local residents considering purchasing a home.

“These workshops are about serving our community,” Gonzalez said. “Homeownership builds stability, generational wealth, and confidence. When families understand the process, they can make decisions that change their future.”
Each workshop is conducted fully in English and Spanish to reflect the diverse population of the region and ensure accessibility for all attendees. The sessions are designed to provide step-by-step guidance on key parts of the homebuying process, including preparing credit and finances, understanding loan programs and down payment assistance options, navigating escrow and inspections, and reviewing contracts from offer to closing.
Participants also have the opportunity to hear directly from local lenders who attend the workshops to answer questions and provide information about financing options. Organizers describe the events as family-friendly gatherings that include food, giveaways, and a certificate participants can apply toward a future home purchase.
Workshops will be hosted at One Way Realty and additional community locations throughout the year, with the goal of creating regular, pressure-free opportunities for residents to learn about the homebuying process in a comfortable setting.
The next workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24 at 6:00 p.m. at One Way Realty, located at 447 W. Aten Rd., Suite 7, in Imperial, inside the Lisa Tucker Center. The event is free and open to the public.
By committing to 12 workshops in 2026, Gonzalez is positioning the initiative as a long-term investment in education and access to homeownership for families throughout Imperial Valley.
